Photography
is about
observation. Last
May we went to Fort
Christmas for a
picnic and photo
shoot. For
those who haven't
been to this park it
is a great place to
take photos.
There are several
"Cracker" houses and
other buildings and
memorabilia from
Florida's past that
have been moved in
from around the
Central Florida
area.
While we all love
taking photos it is
interesting that we
can go to the same
place and each of us
see something
different. We
can each look at an
old house and see
something different.
Some may take a wide
angle landscape,
someone else might
notice a bird on the
porch rail and take
a closeup, some
might take a
portrait of a fellow
member and others
may take an extreme
closeup of a flower
in the yard or some
other detail that
interests them. I
tend to take all of
the above but I'm
sharing a close up
of some wood siding
on one of the
houses.
We will be having
our annual picnic
this year on May
7th, at Sweetwater
Park. This is
our May Field Trip
so please join us
and see what you can
find in the details.

Tech Time Workshop
Join us to explore
some of the current
technology used to
process, enhance and
publish our
photography.
We will have
stations set up
where you learn
about areas
including Zenfolio,
social media,
Photoshop, Lightroom
and some Nik
plugins.
We will have sticky
notes for you to
write down any
questions we don't
get to so we can
provide answers
later and plan
future sessions. If
you have a noisy
photo or one you
want to convert to
monochrome bring it
on a thumb drive and
we will try to use
it in a demo.
